The library offers a host of services to support students, faculty and staff at RCC. The library supports the mission of the college through these services.

All currently enrolled RCC students, faculty, staff, administration, and students at other Massachusetts public colleges are eligible to apply for borrowing privileges. 

Media Services

All media materials and equipment, for use inside or outside the Library, need to be checked out at the Circulation Desk using your valid RCC email address and pin#.


Textbooks and other course material available on reserve.


Using a national interlibrary loan system to bring you resources that the library doesn't have.

InterLibrary Loan

Preserving the college’s history and supporting academic research through the archives and special collections.

The library offers research instruction sessions for your courses.  In our library classroom or online, we can guide students through the processes of accessing the library resources that will help to build your students' information literacy skills

Library Instruction

Faculty Services

The Library supports the academic programs of Roxbury Community College by providing access to books, journal articles, databases, library instruction and reference research.  We also provide classroom support by way of reserves, media equipment and book order suggestion forms.  We encourage faculty and staff members to use all the services that the library has to offer. 

OER Initiative

Roxbury Community College's OER initiative is called "RCC Go Open".

Distance Learning

This guide provides RCC distance learners with access to resources necessary for online and hybrid courses.
