Borrowing

• All borrowed materials and equipment should either be returned to the library's Circulation Desk or placed in a book return box. Book return boxes can be found directly outside the library doors and in the courtyard outside Building 3.
• Items can also be returned at MBLN libraries to be sent back to RCC, but they won’t be marked as returned until they are checked in at our circulation desk. 

• Library materials may be renewed for one additional loan period (14 days for students, 28 days for faculty and staff) unless requested by another patron.
• You may renew materials in person at the Circulation Desk or by calling the library at 857-701-1380. You may also renew books online by logging into the library catalog. Select Log in to your account and then scroll down to click on the Renew button for items you have checked out. You will need your library barcode and PIN number to log in.

• There are no overdue fines accrued for late items; however, fees wiil be charged to student accounts for lost or damaged laptops.
• MBLN items are subject to the policies of their lending libraries and may accrue fines or replacement fees.  

Students agree to pay the cost of laptop/power cord if lost or damaged:

• Lost or irreparably damaged= $400 

• Students may be responsible for repair costs if damaged and not covered by warranty.

• Power cord=$25

• Patrons may request that up to fifty currently circulating items be held for them at the Circulation Desk to be checked out.
• You may place a hold in person at the Circulation Desk or by calling 857-701-1380. You may also place a hold electronically by going to the library catalog. Search for the book you'd like to put on hold, then click on Place hold. You will need your library barcode and PIN number.
• When the item becomes available, you will be notified by email. Materials are held at the Circulation Desk for seven days.
