Through the 50 Pioneers Project, 49 individuals who have made significant contributions to the College over the past 50 years are being honored, with one pioneer representing the collective contributions of the Greater Roxbury Community. Nominees were evaluated based on leadership; community influence and impact; innovation and achievement; commitment to RCC’s values; academic contributions; and excellence in student support.
The exhibit honoring RCC’s 50 Pioneers was unveiled on February 23, 2023 at a reception at Roxbury Community College.
The pioneer exhibit will tour four to five locations in Greater Boston throughout 2023 and will be permanently installed at the College upon its return. To catch the exhibit in-person before it returns to RCC, please visit the traveling exhibition details page for more information!
