Homecoming

Roxbury Community College’s physical campus is closed for the holidays and scheduled maintenance from Monday, 12/22/2025 – Sunday, 1/4/2026. Normal business hours resume on Monday, 1/5/2025. Students enrolled in winter session classes should visit their courses in Canvas for information and support instructions. The Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center is closed from Tuesday, 12/23/22025 – Saturday, 12/27/2025, on Monday, 12/29/2025, and on Thursday, 1/1/2026. RCC’s first-ever, multi-day Homecoming Celebration was held from May 11 – 13, 2023. Alumni reconnected at the Alumni Panel and Networking Reception, where they enjoyed a panel featuring five RCC alumni, moderated by former State Senator Dianne Wilkerson. At the president’s dinner, the Nubian Notion’s family received the Roxbury Leadership Award and RCC Alum Dagne Yesihak, Esq. received the Distinguished Alumni Award. The 47^th Annual Commencement Ceremony on May 12^th featured a keynote speaker from NYC Chancellor David C. Banks. On May 13^th, the RCC hosted an outdoor block party, a step show curated by OrigiNation, a film screening and panel discussion on Welcome to the Terrordome, and live performances celebrating the 50^th Anniversary of Hip Hop!
