Edwards and her husband are raising their two children in Massachusetts.
"I'm ecstatic to serve as the commencement speaker for the exceedingly talented graduating class of Roxbury Community College,” says Edwards. “It's especially exciting given that RCC is immersed in a wonderful commemoration of its 50th anniversary. I look forward to celebrating the exceptional achievements of graduates, thus far, while sending them off into their next chapter with a message that empowers risk-taking, authenticity and inner joy."

Edwards will celebrate the accomplishments of RCC’s Class of 2024 with RCC faculty, staff, the College’s 2024 award winners, college supporters, and RCC alumni. The Class of 2024 exemplifies the talent, determination, and perseverance that has defined RCC since it was founded in 1973.
