Policy on Public Comment to the Board of Trustees

Revised October 2019:
The Roxbury Community College Board of Trustees welcomes public comment on matters within its purview. In accordance with our core values (Honesty, Integrity, Respect, Educational Excellence, Accountability, Inclusiveness), RCC honors the right of expression and maintains an environment that is respectful of all participants.

Accordingly, the Board makes available a maximum 30-minute period at its regular meetings for persons in the audience to address the Board for no longer than three minutes. Written material of any length may be submitted. The Board Meeting Agenda is generally posted five days prior to the meeting on the calendar event page.

Persons wishing to address the Board should submit their request three days prior to the day of the board meeting by US Mail, email, or telephone.
