Active Shooter Familiarization Training

Tragically, active shooter incidents have been occurring on college campuses and other public places at an increased rate. To help safeguard Roxbury Community College from the threat of an active shooter, the Public Safety Department is offering a training class to educate our staff, faculty, and students on what to do in the event of an active shooter on-campus. This familiarization class was developed by the Department of Homeland Security and covers what to do during an active shooter event, how to recognize potential indicators of violence, post-event actions, and more. Classes will be held on December 15 and 22 and on January 12, 19, and 26th from 1:00PM to 4:00 PM in Room 3-121. Use the QR Code below to sign up to attend a class.
