Dear Valued Reggie Lewis Center Members,
I hope that you are safe and well during these challenging times. The past few months have required significant time at home, and I hope you have found a way to stay active and healthy.
We recently released the College’s Four-Phase Campus Action plan (available at www.rcc.mass.edu/campusaccess), which states that we cannot schedule athletic activities until RCC moves to Phase III. We are currently in Phase I of our plan. We are in the process of developing and implementing our safety standards for athletic activities, and purchasing the equipment and PPE required to safely open the Reggie Lewis Center. We do not have a firm timeframe for progressing to Phase III.
Those who paid membership fees to cover your use of the Center from March 2020 – present will receive a refund check from Bank of America by Tuesday, July 28, 2020. If you do not receive your check, please contact Assistant Comptroller Gift Mtileni at GMtileni@rcc.mass.edu.
While the Center is closed, we are evaluating our spaces, equipment, and re-thinking our programming to increase the variety of health and fitness options available. We look forward to offering you both the access you are accustomed to, such as classes for Sensational Seniors, along with new and exciting classes and events.
Currently, we only have mailing addresses on file for most members. If you would like to receive reopening information as soon as it is available, please send your email address to Pam Green at firstname.lastname@example.org, so that you can be added to our email distribution list.
If you have any questions about your refund or if you would like to make suggestions regarding our plans for the future, please contact Reggie Lewis Center Manager Sherman Hart at email@example.com.
Take care, stay safe, and I hope to see you back at the Center, soon.

Dear Reggie Lewis Center Members,
I hope that you are doing well in these challenging times.
Roxbury Community College remains committed to minimizing the spread of COVID-19. Accordingly, from now until at least May 4, 2020, the Reggie Lewis Center is closed to non-essential personnel, in support of our efforts.
You will be unable to access the Reggie Lewis Center until at least May 4, 2020.
Information on membership credits is forthcoming. In the interim, please direct any questions or concerns to David Jordan at firstname.lastname@example.org or me at email@example.com.
We will be sure to notify you when the College is ready to open the Reggie Lewis Center for regular activities. Please continue to take good care and to prioritize your health and well being.

I hope that all of you and your loved ones are safe and well.
As the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to increase, we must continue to prioritize the health and wellbeing of our community. Next week, from Monday, 3/16/2020 – Friday, 3/20/2020, all campus buildings, including the Reggie Lewis Center, will be closed for a thorough cleaning. The Reggie Lewis Center will remain closed through Saturday, 3/28/2020, as we finalize plans. During the closure, you will be unable to access the Center and use your membership benefits.
We do not take this decision lightly—we know that this closure affects your access to important events and resources. However, the CDC and MA Department of Public Health have indicated that limiting and cancelling group activities is the best option for preventing further spread of COVID-19.
We will be in touch via email with additional updates over the coming weeks. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns in the interim.
Please take good care of yourself during this difficult time.
Manager, Reggie Lewis Center
