Fall classes start September 14, 2020 *REMOTE/ONLINE CLASSES*
Don't have a high school diploma? Don't let it hold you back from reaching your goals! Take the next steps for your future with preparation classes for the High School Equivalency Test.
*Fall classes are offered remotely and online. This means that there are scheduled class meeting times for students to utilize Zoom and access live instruction online. Classes will also be recorded for students to be able to access at a later time for review or if they have to miss a class.
Meet Virtually with Office Staff
See if our classes are the right fit for you by asking any questions you may have, learning more about our pricing and schedule, or get assistance with registering for classes if you're ready. Schedule a virtual meeting or call with Lise Snow, our Lifelong Learning Community Program Manager.
We accept checks, money orders, credit cards, and debit cards; we do not accept cash.
Our HiSET/GED classes are not ESOL English classes. They are taught in English and are intensive preparation classes. For more information on Community ESOL English classes, click here.
*HiSET/GED Prep classes are non-credit Lifelong Learning courses and run subject to enrollment. We encourage early registrations.
Refunds: If you wish to drop the course and request a refund, you must submit a request by email at least one business day before the start of your first class. No refunds will be given after this time, and partial refunds will not be given for absences or scheduling conflicts.
If your course is canceled by the College due to low enrollment or for any other reason, your full amount paid will be refunded to you.
Note:There is no requirement to take classes prior to taking the exam, but many opt to supplement their own studying with our classes to feel more prepared. Roxbury Community College is a testing center that offers both the HiSET and GED Exam. Click here to learn more about the differences.
