The RCC Public Safety Department regulates parking in all of our parking lots. The college has three large parking lots along Columbus Ave and limited employee parking at the RLTAC. Parking permits are required to park in the lots. Employees have reserved spaces at the north end of Lot 1.
The Public Safety dispatcher in Room 109 on the first floor of The Academic Building (Building 3) issues parking permits for both students and employees. Employee permits are issued for the duration of employment while student permits are issued each semester. To receive a parking permit, please present your valid RCC ID and vehicle registration to the Public Safety dispatcher. While using the lots, please ensure that the permit is visible. Student permits are decals that should be placed in the lower left front corner of the windshield. Employee permits are plastic hanging permits which can be hung from the rear-view mirror or placed on the dash.
Vehicles found in violation of parking rules may be issued a parking violation. Frequent violators may have their parking privileges revoked and/or their vehicle towed.
