Foreign Language Testing—Spanish & French

The Spanish and French tests are multiple-choice exams designed by RCC faculty. Students must take a test before registering for an initial French or Spanish course. Tests are administered on computer and are untimed. Students usually take 15-20 minutes to complete each test.

Students with strong Spanish or French language skills should consider taking a CLEP exam. CLEP exams allow students to earn credit by examination. Visit our CLEP page for more info.

RCC does offer Arabic language courses. No placement test is required. Speak to an Advisor if you are interested in taking Arabic language classes.
