Roxbury Community College’s physical campus is closed for the holidays and scheduled maintenance from Monday, 12/22/2025 – Sunday, 1/4/2026. Normal business hours resume on Monday, 1/5/2025. Students enrolled in winter session classes should visit their courses in Canvas for information and support instructions. The Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center is closed from Tuesday, 12/23/22025 – Saturday, 12/27/2025, on Monday, 12/29/2025, and on Thursday, 1/1/2026. We are happy to serve our Veterans. Please visit www. gibill.va.gov or contact your nearest VA representative (V.A. Buffalo: 888-442-4551) in order to obtain your Certificate of Eligibility. Please bring a printed copy of your paperwork that confirms your status as a current or former member of the United States Armed Forces (example: DD 214), waivers, orders, and waive your health insurance through Gallagher. You will need to register with Gallagher using your @roxbury.edu email address, where you will receive a verification link. The verification link will bring you to a waiver page

Please contact the Enrollment office and Student Accounts for further information and a Veteran’s package. Finally, all veterans must complete the admissions process and provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Section 702 of the Choice Act

Section 702 of the Veterans Access, Choice and Ac- countability Act of 2014 (“Choice Act”), requires VA to disapprove programs of education for payment of benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill and Montgomery GI Bill-Active Duty at public institutions of higher learning if the schools charge qualifying Veterans and dependents tuition and fees in excess of the rate for resident students for terms beginning after July 1, 2015. These new requirements will ensure that our Nation’s recently discharged Veterans, and their eligible family members, will not have to bear the cost of out-of-state charges while using their well-de- served education benefits.

For all courses, semesters, or terms beginning after August 1, 2021, Roxbury Community College charges qualifying veterans, dependents and eligible individuals’ tuition and fees at the rate for in-state residents. Covered individuals including the following will be charged the in-state resident rate:

A veteran using educational assistance under either Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill® – Active Duty Program), Chapter 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation) or Chapter 33 (Post-9/11 G Bill), of 38 U.S.C. who lives in the state in which the institution is located (regardless of their formal state of residence).
Anyone using transferred Post-9/11 G.I. Bill benefits (38 U.S.C. § 3319) who lives in the state in which the institution is located (regardless of their formal state of residence).
Anyone described above, while they remain continuously enrolled (other than during regularly scheduled breaks between courses, semesters, or terms) at the same institution. The person must be using educational benefits under Chapter 30, Chapter 31, or Chapter 33 of 38 U.S.C.
Anyone using benefits under the Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship (38 U.S.C. § 3311(b) (9)) who lives in the state in which the institution is located (regardless of their formal state of residence).
