Students who have never attended any college or university are welcomed as new students at Roxbury Community College. Roxbury Community College is a public, two-year college with an open admission policy. All students are required to submit proof of high school completion for acceptance. Credentials from foreign high schools are accepted if accompanied by an evaluation verifying U.S. equivalency. Students must meet the prerequisites established for all college-level courses to enroll.
Home-schooled students without a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate are eligible to apply for admission to a degree or certificate program, provided they have successfully completed an approved home-school program in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws or the laws of their home state.
Admission into some programs is competitive due to a limited number of openings or a competitive application process.
