Eligibility
To receive federal, state, and institutional financial aid, students must:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Be enrolled in an eligible degree or certificate program (Non-Degree Majors are not
eligible for Financial Aid)
- For grant programs, not have a previous bachelor’s degree
- Have a valid Social Security number
- Not be in default on a federal loan or owe repayment on a federal grant at any institution
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
State and private financial aid programs may have additional requirements. The Office
of Financial Aid looks forward to working with you. Services are available by appointment
and walk-in.
