The College considers 15 credits per semester to be the threshold for a full courseload. Students who wish to take more than 15 credits in a semester should be in Good Academic Standing. Advising believes that students should have a good grasp of their academics before embarking on a heavy and challenging load. For every 1 credit, 3 hours of outside work is typically required. Hence, for 15 credits, approximately 45 hours of outside work is expected. The College recommends that students register for no more than 8 credits for the optional Winter session.
