Catalog Searching         A basic introduction to searching the Library's online catalog.  Through this portal patrons can access both digital and print books, movies, audiobooks, music and much more. 
Ebook Central Shows users how to access Ebook Central, the RCC Library's largest supplier of ebooks, and how to navigate its interface. The RCC Library subscribes to thousands of ebooks through this service.
Plagiarism 101 An interactive lesson that helps students understand the basics of plagiarism and then tests their comprehension with a quiz.  Results are displayed at the end of the tutorial.
Criminal Justice Research Enables students doing research in criminal justice to gain a basic familiarity with the RCC Library's electronic offerings in the subject area.
EBSCO Database Searching Teaches users to find articles in EBSCO databases, our largest database supplier.  EBSCO provides databases in nursing, science, criminal justice, education, general research, and many other topic areas.
Narrowing a Topic Walks students through the process of narrowing down a subject into a research topic for a paper or project.  This may be useful for any course that requires students to formulate a topic to research.
Subject Specific Searching Demonstrates subject specific searching in Academic Search Premier.  This technique can be used in many Library databases as well as in the catalog.
Inter-Library Loan 
Commonwealth Catalog Demonstrates how to search and request an item in the Commonwealth Catalog (ComCat), a statewide library loan system, that allows users to request items from outside the typical Roxbury Community College Library network.
Inter-Library Loan                                  Discusses how to use the RCC Library's inter-library loan service.  Through the online ILL forms students, staff, and faculty can request articles and books not normally available in the Library or through the MBLN network.
