TEAS is the Test of Essential Academic Skills. It is required for applicants to the RCC Nursing and Radiology programs (except Advanced Placement—see NACE I info to the right).

Required for Advanced Placement Nursing applicants only.
See the application for Advanced Placement requirements.

The ATI TEAS test is 3.5 hours long and has 170 questions. It measures essential skills in reading, math, science and English. The ATI TEAS is the 6th edition of the TEAS exam. TEAS V is no longer available or accepted for admission.

The exam has 200 questions and is 4 hours in duration. The nursing process—assessing, analyzing, planning, implementing and evaluating—is applied in items throughout the test.

TEAS results must be dated on or before the application deadline to be considered for admissions.
