Tommie Campbell, Jr. is entering his fifth season as the Head Coach of the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Team at Roxbury Community College.  He is certified as a USATF Level 1 Coach.

During his years at RCC, coach Campbell has produced 6 NJCAA All-American's including 2 national champions. 

Campbell joined RCC after four seasons of coaching the Track & Field Program at the John D. O’Bryant School of Math and Science in Roxbury, MA.  He also previously coached at Brighton High School (Brighton, MA). During his tenure at RCC, he has coached two National Champions and six All-Americans.

Coach Campbell earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical and Secondary Education from the University of Rhode Island (URI), where he was nationally recognized as a Track & Field athlete.  In 1991, he was named the New England Track & Field Athlete of the Year, and the following year became the URI record holder in the Long Jump.   He was a six-time New England Collegiate Triple Jump Champion, and, in 1993, Campbell was a United States Olympic Festival Participant and a World Champion Trials Qualifier in the Triple Jump. 

A current resident of Boston, Campbell currently teaches at UMana Middle School Academy.
