Career Fair Oct. 27, 2010
Community Career Fair sponsored by Roxbury Community College and JobNet, MA One-stop Career Center was held on October 27th at Reggie Lewis Athletic and Track Gymnasium.
Almost 50 employers participated. Their feedback on their experience in the career fair has been outstanding. The organizations were intensely diversity minded and dedicated to community. They came from a spectrum of professions, industries, non-profits and community organizations. Participating Employers included: Graybar Electric, Walker Home for Children, State Street, Arbor Association, South End Community Health Center, Department of Environmental Protection, UMass Medical School, Cambridge College, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Mass Biologic Laboratories, North Suffolk Mental Health Association, Victory Programs, Inc. Tufts University, Boston Police Department, Mass. Department of Correction, MA State Police Department, Big Sister Association of Greater Boston, Vinfen Corporation, Little Sprouts, Art of Care, Federal Aviation Admin, Crittenton Women’s Union, Regis College, BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life), Social Security Office, ACE Employment Services, Amtrak, Wediko Children’s Services, Inc., Peace Corps, Mary Kay Inc., Sovereign Bank, Osiris Magazine, Associated Early Care and Education, Omni Hotels, the workplace HELPLINE, LLC, United States Marine Corps, UPS, New England Cellular Sales, etc.
