Coach Tyron Boswell is entering his sixth year as Assistant Coach of the Roxbury Community College Men’s Basketball Team. Last season, alongside Head Coach Kwami Green, Boswell helped lead the Tigers to a 25-3 record and a MCCAC State Championship.
Boswell joined the RCC staff in 2008 after serving as an assistant under Head Coach Kwami Green at Brighton High School.
Boswell currently holds the position of Asst. Director of Operations for Expressions Elite AAU program, as well as Head coach for the program. Boswell’s duties include recruiting, and player development. The AAU program has produced several scholarship basketball players. He has also served as a counselor at various basketball camps throughout the USA.
A native of Roxbury, MA, Boswell received his bachelor’s in Liberal Arts from The University of Massachusetts Boston. He is currently a social worker for D.A.R.E. Family services.
