GED Preparation Information
RCC does not currently offer GED preparation classes. However, there are many excellent study programs and resources in Boston. Information about GED preparation programs is available on the Adult Literacy Hotline website: http://www.getrealmass.info/hotline/
Transcripts and Diplomas:
If you earned your GED® at Roxbury Community College, fill out the Transcript Request form (link below) and submit it to the RCC GED® Office along with the required payment.
If you took your GED® at another test center, contact that test center to order a copy of your transcript.

Diplomas are awarded by the state GED® Office, at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. If you need a copy of your Massachusetts GED® DIPLOMA, you must contact the state GED Office at:

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is an aptitude test that is used as one component for selecting students for admission to the competitive Nursing and Allied Health programs.
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) test will assess your abilities in Math, Reading, English and Science. The test is computerized and will be administered online via the internet and takes about three and half (3 1/2) hours to complete. There are four sections and each section is timed as follows:

The TEAS exam is administered twice a year, in February - March for the Fall Licensed Practical Nurse, Radiologic Technology, and Registered Nurse program; and September - October for the Spring Registered Nurse evening program.
