Transcripts and Diplomas:

GED® Transcripts

If you earned your GED® at Roxbury Community College, fill out the Transcript Request form (link below) and submit it to the RCC GED® Office along with the required payment.

If you took your GED® at another test center, contact that test center to order a copy of your transcript.

For employers: In Massachusetts GED Score Reports/Transcripts do not indicate awarding or receiving a Massachusetts GED credential, only that the five tests were taken and passed.

To verify that an individual received his/her GED diploma, please submit a Verification Request to the Massachusetts GED Office: www.doe.mass.edu/ged/verify/.

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is an aptitude test that is used as one component for selecting students for admission to the competitive Nursing and Allied Health programs.

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) test will assess your abilities in Math, Reading, English and Science. The test is computerized and will be administered online via the internet and takes about three and half (3 1/2) hours to complete. There are four sections and each section is timed as follows:

  • Reading 42 questions – 58 minutes
  • Math 30 questions – 51 minutes
  • Science 48 questions – 66 minutes
  • English and Language 30 questions – 34 minutes.

The TEAS exam is administered twice a year, in February - March for the Fall Licensed Practical Nurse, Radiologic Technology, and Registered Nurse program; and September - October for the Spring Registered Nurse evening program. MCAS – Pathway to Success

Roxbury Community College
Our Mission is to properly arm individuals with the academic and workforce tools needed to succeed on the MCAS exam and catapult their careers!  We firmly believe in working with students to eliminate the barriers and obstacles that stand in the way of one's ability to be successful.  As a result, Pathways provides travel passes, meals for participants every class, an abundance of school supplies to assist with one's organizational approach, as well as, one-on-one consultations with the program coordinator and a career navigator.  Our services are free and open to anyone desiring to advance their career.  The only requirement we mandate is one's full commitment: Devoting time, energy and discipline to their studies and tasks.
