Kwami Green, Men’s Head Basketball Coach

Coach Kwami Green is entering his second year as the Men’s Head Basketball Coach at Roxbury Community College.  Last season, Green led the Tigers to a 10-10 regular season record.  Two of his players, Jeffery Cannon and Zwelky Cruz, were named to the 2nd Team All-Region. 

Prior to RCC, Green was the Men’s Varsity Coach at Brighton High School.  During his eight seasons at Brighton, Green amassed a 79-63 regular season record, leading his team to the post-season on five occasions.  Brighton was crowned the Southside Division Champions during the 2006-2007 season. 

Prior to working at Brighton High School, Green spent three seasons as the Men’s Head Varsity Coach at Trinity High School in Newton. 

During the summer, Green runs the Think Smart Basketball Camp at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center.  (For more information, please contact Coach Green at 617-541-2478.)

A graduate of Brookline High School, Green attended Morehouse College (Atlanta, GA) where he earned his degree in psychology and liberal arts.  For the past 15 years, he has been a counselor for the Boston Public Schools System.
