MyRcc

MyRCC for Faculty

MyRCC is the Roxbury Community College students-faculty portal.As a faculty member, you can find out information about your classes, students who attend them, send group e-mail to students and post your grades. You can access MyRCC at https://myrcc.rcc.mass.edu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do I get MyRCC User ID and Pin?
A: Ask your dean for the information. In the event that the dean is unavailable, stop by the ITS Department, provide proof of your current teaching assignment and receive your user ID and Pin.

Q: How do I change my password?
A: Login to MyRCC, click Personal Info and select Password under My Info.

Q: What if I forget my password?
A: Go to MyRCC, type your User ID and click on I Forgot My Password. Make sure the Registrar’s Office has your RCC e-mail address on file.

Q: If I stop teaching at RCC, would my MyRCC account be suspended?
A: No. After your account is created, it stays active.

Q: I am assigned to courses, but could not see them under MyRCC.
A: Contact the Registrar’s Office to make sure you have a valid ID as a faculty member, and that your ID is assigned to your courses.

How to Use the New Print System

At a Workstation

Step 1: Create the document that you wish to print.

Email

The Information Technology Services Department (ITS),creates an e-mail for each new RCC employee. To request your account, please fill out this form and have it signed by your supervisor. You must also sign the form and initial the back after your read and agree to acceptable use policy. Employee e-mail username is created using first letter of first, first letter of middle (if applicable), and complete last name. If there are duplicates names, e-mail username will end with a number. For instance, if there are two employees named Janet Doe, the second Janet Doe’s e-mail address will be JDoe2@rcc.mass.edu.On campus, login to any employee desktop and run outlook to read your email. From home, you can access your email at https://mail.rcc.mass.edu.

A: Login to your network account. Do Ctrl-Alt-Delete, and select Password Change.

Q: What if I forget my password?

Q: If I stop working at RCC, would my e-mail account be deleted?
A: Yes for all staff and administrators. However, if you are an Adjunct Faculty member, your account is suspended until you decide to return, at which point it is reactivated. If you are a Full-Time Faculty member, your account is active as long as you work at RCC. If a Full-Time Faculty member retires and returns to teach part-time, their accounts are treated same as an Adjunct Faculty member.
