COMPREHENSIVE 7 WEEK PROGRAM
Students will learn the codes of ethics required by the Joint Association Commission Organization (JACO) and HIPPA, and understand the principles and standards involved in translating and interpreting for patients. Topics include Medical Terminology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Anatomy of Communication, Ethics and Legal Issues, Strategic Mediation in Healthcare Interpreting and more.

Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 9:00 PM
And Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Language Assessment: August 16 and September 13 at 6:00 PM in Building 2, Room 101

Graduates will be prepared for the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters.
