Description and Scope
This series documents the activities of Roxbury Community College Foundation. Established in 1983 as a private tax-exempt organization, the Foundation is a separate entity from the College and State Legislature; through its efforts, the Foundation serves to generate private contributions to provide scholarships and vital programs and services for College constituents. The Foundation is managed by the Board of Directors responsible for the assets, business, and affairs of the Foundation. The series, dated 1984 through 2009, includes records that relate to the administrative, financial/fundraising, and governance functions of the Foundation. Among the records are brochures, Board of Directors meeting minutes, Committee meeting minutes, events, fundraising campaigns, newsletters, programs and projects, and reports and surveys.
