Eight Tips for a successful Career Fair:

  • Bring 25 resumes to the Career Fair
  • Be prepared to quickly sell your skills, talents, and experiences
  • Be ready to complete a job application on the spot
  • Arrive ten minutes early to register and plan your “attack”
  • Visit your targeted employers first
  • Show interest by asking what are the next steps
  • Track which employers you have submitted resumes
  • Collect business cards and follow up within 24-48 hours with a thank-you letter
