This intern will help the Union build its membership in several key ways. He/she will recruit local businesses for the membership discount program, represent the Union at tabling and networking events across Boston, and work with volunteers to organize large and small fundraising events. This intern will gain valuable skills in grassroots organizing, event planning, networking, and executing fundraising campaigns.

Commitment to the Union mission
possess strong communication skills and feel comfortable talking on the phone.

Residence within the greater Boston area
Bonus Points for:
Fluency in Spanish, Haitian, Vietnamese, Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), Cape Verdean Criolo, or Portuguese.
Sales, customer service, or fundraising experience
Bike mechanic skills
Tech savvy
City planning background
Experience or expertise in GIS
Familiarity with biking in Boston
