Coach Kwami Green is entering his sixth year as the Men’s Head Basketball Coach at Roxbury Community College. Last season, Green led RCC to a 25-3 record won the MCCAC State Championships and earned his 100th win.
During his years at RCC, Green has lead the Tigers to two NJCAA National Tournaments and has produced 3 NJCAA ALL American's and 14 region XXI team members.
Prior to RCC, Green was the Men’s Varsity Coach at Brighton High School. During his eight seasons at Brighton, Green amassed a 79-63 regular season record, leading his team to the post-season on five occasions. Brighton was crowned the Southside Division Champions during the 2006-2007 season.
Prior to working at Brighton High School, Green spent three seasons as the Men’s Head Varsity Coach at Trinity High School in Newton.
A graduate of Brookline High School, Green attended Morehouse College (Atlanta, GA) where he earned his degree in psychology and liberal arts. For the past 15 years, he has been a counselor for the Boston Public Schools System. He is now a Dean at the Dever McCormack School in Dorchester.
