Welcome to the Department of Facilities

The Department of Facilities is responsible for all college-owned facilities and is here to serve and support the mission and goals of the College. The Department of Facilities is responsible for:

  • All planning; design and construction; and maintenance and operations for all college-owned facilities
  • Managing the College-wide Capital process
  • Managing all space, finish, furniture, and equipment standards
  • Directing the activities of all outside consultants who work in our facilities including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors
  • Maintaining buildings; grounds and landscaping; and setting up special events
  • Providing Mail and Copy Center Services

For general information, general questions or to report emergencies such as leaking pipes, gas smell, and leaking roofs during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM), call 617-541-5334.

For Emergencies during non-business hours, please call the Office of Public Safety at 617-541-5338.

Campus Safety

At Roxbury Community College, the safety and well-being of students, faculty, and staff are our highest priority.

The Roxbury Community College, Office of Public Safety provides protection to the campus community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Public Safety staff work with community members to prevent crime, solve problems, and take proactive steps to make Roxbury Community College as safe as possible.

Public Safety Office

The Office of Public Safety offers many programs and services for students, faculty, and staff.

Threat Assessment Team

The Threat Assessment Team is dedicated to a proactive, coordinated and planned identification, prevention, assessment, management, and reduction of interpersonal and behavioral threats to the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Roxbury Community College.

Campus Crime Report

Roxbury Community College complies with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), which is a federal law requiring most colleges and universities nationwide to publish statistics in order to inform the campus community about certain criminal offenses committed on or near campus.
