| As a student you may wonder why you
should concern yourself with managing your time. We all
have the same 24 hours
a day in which to accomplish what we desire, right? Yet,
some accomplish much more than others and seem to be more
content. Why the difference? Experts tell us that most
of what we do is based on habit. Taking a close look at
some of our habits might help us find out where we can
improve. Knowing what you want to achieve and practicing
some good time management habits can go a long way toward
helping you achieve the things that you need and want to
do. Daily use of the school agenda will help you become
better organized and enable you to make the best of the
opportunities that school success can bring. Using your
personal Monthly Calendars, plan scheduled events on your
personal monthly calendars. Example: team practices, doctors'
appointments, club meetings, and parties…Jot down
reminders about test and project due dates. When planning
your day, check your personal monthly calendar for upcoming
events or tests. |
