Practical English For Health Occupations
CSA 381 Thur: 5:30-7:30 PM; 8 weeks; $250
 
Immigrant  students as well as health care professionals for whom English is not the native language are encouraged to enroll in this course in which they will become acquainted with the lingo, vocabulary, law, ethics,  and processes of the health care and medical fields. This course also offers unique skills and resources to those who wish to explore a career in the healthcare and medical fields.

English for the Construction Trades
CSA 383; Mon 6-8PM; 8 weeks; Cost: $250

Foreign-trained construction trades workers are encouraged to sign up for this course.  They will learn the trade lingo of tools, construction materials, and safety regulations, etc. in order to better obtain recognition for their qualifications. With proof of enough related work experience in the United States, students who successfully complete this course may enroll in the Builders’ License Exam course in preparation for their state licensure.

English for the Cosmetology Field
 CSA 384;Thur 6-8PM; 8 weeks; Cost: $250

Designed specifically for non-English speakers, this course provides the communication skills and the practical tools necessary for a rewarding career in cosmetology. Topics include: vocabulary of the trade, understanding and follow job-related procedures, communication for a successful career in the hair salon business, etc. Sign up today: enrollment is very limited. 

Spanish for Law Enforcement
CSA 473 Tues 6-8PM; 10 weeks; Cost: $250

Spanish For Law Enforcement is a course designed exclusively for law enforcement agencies and their employees to acquire a working knowledge of that language as related to their duty.  Professionals who are enrolled in this course will learn important communication skills to become confident Spanish speakers using our customized curriculum.  

Spanish for Healthcare Professionals
CSA 474 Z1 Mon 5:45-7:45; 10 weeks; Cost: $250

The Spanish For Healthcare Professionals course offers a unique opportunity to individuals working in various offices in hospitals, healthcare Centers, medical offices, or any other areas of that field to understand and speak Spanish as a customized language.
