The Roxbury Community College Men’s Baseball Team will be entering its ­­­12th year of competitive play in the spring of 2009 under Head Coach Ed Neal.  Last season, the team went through a year of rebuilding, but ended the season on a high note by receiving the Region XXI Team Sportsmanship Award.

Coach Neal has amassed over two and a half decades of coaching credentials and has led the RCC Tigers Baseball Program for the past 11 seasons.  Over the course of his coaching career, Neal has coached at his alma mater, Mario Umana Technical High School of Science and Technology, in addition to Boston Tech High School and John D. O’Bryant High School.  He is also been Manager of the Padres Baseball Club of the Boston Park League for the past 14 years.

In both 2000 and 2004, Coach Neal led RCC to the state semi-finals.
